St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Linlithgow had a small but thriving congregation, but no space to accommodate it. The only site available for an extension was a tiny and steeply banked garden to the rear, accessed through a narrow shared pend. The solution was a stepped extension providing accessible toilets, a kitchen, community room and a lounge, linked by a lift. Grant helped the congregation from the initial feasibility study in 2015 and took the project forward through the planning process until completion on site in May 2018. The town now has a welcome addition to the historic urban fabric and some much needed community facilities.
