PROJECTS :: Eastfield, Joppa

This terraced house to the east of Edinburgh had a fabulous views out over the Firth of Forth. Unfortunately an earlier kitchen extension and garden outhouses blocked much of the view at ground floor level. These were therefore demolished and a new living space created with the kitchen moved into the house itself. The design took advantage of the panorama view using extensive glazing, and utilised the available natural light.

The main contractor was YB Contracts Ltd, working in conjuction with Kitchens International. The glazing was provided by Nor-Dan UK.

The extension was completed in 2007.
